Flowering Time:

  • Flowers in late spring to early summer, followed by red berries in autumn.

Soil Type:

  • Thrives in well-drained, loamy soil, but adaptable to various soil types.

Position:

  • Prefers full sun to partial shade and sheltered from strong winds.

Height and Spread:

  • Grows up to 30-40 feet tall with a spread of 20-30 feet.

Top Tips:

  • Prune in late winter to maintain shape and remove dead wood.
  • Water regularly during dry spells, especially in its early years.
  • Avoid planting in waterlogged soil to prevent root rot.
